  • Sunday Funday

It was muy caliente at Sunday’s track day here in the Arizona desert, but I still had fun. I did miss my brothers and partners in crime. Hope to see you back out at the track again soon, Piken!

            Lookin good Bill!

Didn't figure you'd need tire warmers as hot as it was
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

No joke, the pavement temp was not too far off the tire temp after pulling off the warmers!

Hey Bill, looking good out there Bro! Guess you missed the memo, now too be cool you have to get your SHOULDER on the pavement, elbows are for sissies and knees are for old farts. Like me.

I can get my shoulder down, too, during a low-side crash!

It's been a few years since I did a track day. The rubber on my bike now is a little past track day worthy. Gonna make an effort to get out there this winter. Will be the first time on the new bike and I am anxious to see how the both of us do. My riding has slowed some in recent years, but that's OK. My first track day some 15 years ago was really slow and I still had a blast.

                      Thanks for the inspiration.

BTW, my older brother of 65 years, has a renewed vigor for track days. I haven't spoken to him in a couple of months, but I know his plan was to get in as many track days as possible before his local track closes for the winter. Effen awesome.

Just do it! Way to get back out there, Mehush. I like the fact that no matter what your level there is a group for you. I have worked my way up to A group but will continue to ride the track for years to come, even if I need to drop down to the lower groups. I just wish that I had started riding at track days years ago. Many thanks to Piken for getting me started and addicted
