  • 2022 WSBK this weekend!

Remember Superbikes? They are back! Testing just concluded at Aragon with JR leading the time sheets, three tenths quicker than Raz. They stay at Aragon for the race this weekend. Should be interesting- especially the new SuperSport class, with everything from 600 fours to 951 twins going at it...

MotoAmerica ran a similar group to SSP at Daytona 200 this year. I expected a Ducati romp because the Panigale 959 is a 150hp motor on the street. But Triumph 765 won, and Yamaha 600s were right there at the finish.

The whining from those who don't win about performance handicaps is going to be never-ending...

I don't see what channel it's on yet. (tvracer.com) is one of the places I follow for racing stuff.
I want to watch without having to subscribe to some other streaming channel. Such a PITA
MotoGP covered on NBC for this weekend race instead of CNBC like it's been on. Just an FYI

Well if race 1 is anything close to the season ahead , looks to be an epic battle .... doesn't get any more entertaining than that ! Kawi looks pretty solid for 2022 in the hands of CR . Great to have more company at the front ...

Rea worked hard for that one. Bautista (Goldilocks) gave him a run for his money.
I had my patience tested. I'm negative.

                      Austin Moto GP.... Spoiler Alert!

                      Observations:
                      1. In this era of near-parity, tire management is CRITICAL. Bastianini is fantastic at this... and he won. Also interesting that his one year old bike is 6-7 kph faster than some of the GP 22's.
                      2. Mark Marquez. Just amazing. I had been wondering if he could ever do that magical stuff again- but going from dead last to 6th in this field? Are you kidding me? He remains fearless and incredibly skilled.
                      3. KTM and Aprilia: Not competitive in Texas. After running at the front and winning recently. Weird.
                      4. Available soon: Fabio's used M1, as I can't see him not moving to a more competitive motorcycle...
5, Finally... Cam B's Texas weekend- from Pole position to crashing out of 4th place on the last lap. Disaster.

Thought this was the WSBK thread?
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

On the WSBK side … Will be great if all three top Yam , Kaw and Duc riders can be battling this year . Aragon might have flattered the Duc and hindered the Yam with those straights … will be interesting to see
