      the main thrust is that history is repetitive. People don't realize until they've seen it a few times in their lifetime the value of historical data. People THINK that what happened before is irrelevant because THEY are somehow different...

      It doesn't matter at the end of the day what level of technology we are at, those that greed for power will abuse it.

      On the up side, anyone REID the news today? LOL
      Young men know the rules, OLD men know the exceptions.

        Entirely agreed - human nature repeats itself; you give it certain circumstances or opportunities you get a similar result. History should lead one to expect this. If only we still thought it was important ...

                    On this day in 1865, Gen. R.E. Lee surrenders 28000 Confederate troops to Union Gen US Grant at Appomattox Court House, thus ending the American Civil War.
