My friend Mike Schniederjan, whom I rode with on many many motorcycle trips, and who lead one of our riding groups on our first ZZR bikes AR rally, passed on this morning from complications of kidney failure, aged 65.
Here I often referred to him as TexasMike. Leo, TomUhl, Futile, Sacowan, JimmyMac, DWC, Fingers1491, BMWPaul, and many others here knew him and rode with him.
He had a full life and his health troubles only lasted 2-3 years.
He is survived by two grown children, several grandchildren, and 3 ex-wives.
I remember my sense of accomplishment in 2003 the first time I was able to keep up with him on the Talimena Parkway in SE Oklahoma.
Ride safe, Mike.
