I've never plugged a tire before but know plenty that have.
There is enough life left in it to try a plug but I have already ordered a set of new tires just in case

That sucks, Mike. Why did you choose a phillips-head? Is it JIS? I prefer the torx head screws for flats. They are less likely to rowl out and I like to test myself.
