Ditto. The wife didn't appreciate joining the 200kph+ club.

I think the FJR would be a good replacement for the ZZR if you are just wanting better ergonomics. Ive not heard anything bad about them. As you are already aware, it ll definitely be more sedate. Are you wanting to stay with a metric bike?

I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

How about a C14? More upright and still crazy horsepower. AND it's still a Kawasaki.

The R1 is waiting for parts and I had a ride planned last weekend. Someone offered me this. I nearly said no thanks, but it's an annual ride and I didn't want to miss it.

They are actually a very good touring bike, definitely slower than the ZZR1200, but very stable and surprisingly good in faster corners.

They are heavy though, and it had a custom seat which meant I couldn't get my feet flat on the ground and had to be careful where I parked.

"Metric Bike" meaning foreign built? No-one in Australia produces bikes, so I guess I do.
            Or are you suggesting "Hardley"?

Metric meaning Japanese (Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, etc…). I would never have considered a Hardley LOL.
