  • POLL: Primary Bikes

Gregness asked an interesting question in another thread. We ran this kind of poll many years ago and discovered that a majority of members still had a ZZR1200 as their primary bike. Let's see what we're all riding now!

In a poll like this the site architecture limits us to 10 options. That said ...

How To Cheat on Personality Tests
          1. When asked for word associations or comments about the world, give the most conventional, run-of-the-mill, pedestrian answer possible.

          2. To settle on the most beneficial answer to any question, repeat to yourself:
          (a) I loved my father and my mother, but my father a little bit more.
          (b) I like things pretty well the way they are.
          (c) I never worry much about anything.
          (d) I don't care for books or music much.
          (e) I love my wife and children.
          (f) I don't let them get in the way of company work.

            Long distance ride = C-14.
            Sporty ride = R6.

So that would make your primary bike the R6? :)

If I bought another sports tourer, I'd definitely get something smaller than the R1 for fun.

This is the third ZX14 I’ve owned. My Kawasaki love affair started 19 years ago with the ZZR1200.

                    Hey DeweyB.

Post up a pic of that ZX 12

Been years since I've seen one of those.
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

The good ol' ZZR1200. Pictured here at Mt Hotham, on the way back from Phillip Island, heading back to Perth. Son's ZX12R in the background.

And, I still have my 78 Kz650sr bought new to impress a girl I was dating. Old bikes are still a bunch of fun.
