Damn, very sorry to hear Chris! Extremely frustrating. I hope they find your cycle. Years ago I had a brand new 1983 GPZ 1100 (only had 5K on the odometer) stolen in broad daylight.... with a Kryptonite U-lock on it no less...right from the parking lot on campus. Unfortunately, back in the stone-age when there were zero security cameras. I feel your pain brother.

      Fuckin thieves.

I'll keep an eye on CL and eBay for parts. It's a unique color, so, any plastic or tank parts will be easy to spot.

      Condolences Boss.

But likely you're phucked. Sorry Chris, It'll pop up somewhere. They don't think that speedo's been rolled.

That's where I'd look, Reid. The bike was in Hempstead and I figure the thieves were local. I'm keeping an eye on Bryan/College Station and Austin, too.

            Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks to all for keeping an eye out. I've already picked out a tree and bought a rope.

              No sign yet, though.

You can still hang a person for stealing a horse in Texas, right?
What about 160 of 'em? I guess you've not heard anything.
This is such bullshit. They probably don't even know what they have.
The rarity of it too.I hope it turns up.

                      2. To settle on the most beneficial answer to any question, repeat to yourself:
                      (a) I loved my father and my mother, but my father a little bit more.
                      (b) I like things pretty well the way they are.
                      (c) I never worry much about anything.
                      (d) I don't care for books or music much.
                      (e) I love my wife and children.
                      (f) I don't let them get in the way of company work.

I just talked to the police Lt today and he sent me that photo. They found it with a bunch of other stolen items in a vacant apt near Caldwell TX. He has to touch base with the sheriff in the county it was stolen in (Waller Co) before I can go get it.

Looks to me like they were repainting it and getting ready to put and extended swingarm on it. I’m glad it has been saved from that fate

Glad to hear they found it. I hope it is in decent enough shape to bring her back to your status.
Well, close anyway. Sure would be nice to hang the thief's nuts on the tag bracket for an example.

                              Outstanding Chris!
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.
