  • ZG 1400 Tire pressure sensor Batteries

I have a TPS that need new batteries. Awhile back there was a guy on here installing them for $50 each i think. Anyone know who that was?

I have done this many times...

step 1, find a person who is a good tinkerer and remove tire valve assemblies.
step 2, have them carefully pry open the little plastic case.
step 3, take open case to 'Batteries+' store to see what you are doing. have them spot weld (free) 2 tabs on new batteries (<$5 ea). have tinkerer help arrange the location of tabs to be welded.
...note, be careful that the 2 tabs do not touch each other, and 2 sides of batteries do not short out while handling/transporting/etc.
step 4, have tinkerer solder new batteries in place by carefully tinning all attachment areas, only where needed, then quickly heating tinned area.
    step 5, reassemble and ride.

    It works.
