I believe this is the best battery for the money....

Yuasa YTX14-BS. They last for years and the Yuasa website shows that they are now made in the USA.

That Yausa battery would be a good bet. I have a Bikemaster true gel in my 02 Zed and
they have good reviews as well too.

            Keep away from the MotoBatShit.
            I bought 3, for 3 different bikes.
They all shat themselves after about a year and a half.
Glass-matt battery - SSB has given me an excellent return for my money.

The Big Crank replaced my OEM battery and has been doing a great job.
I've had the battery for two years and there ore no issues with it.

The OEM battery lasted 14 years!

                There you have it.

Otherwise, I've always had great results with a Yuasa.

I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

The OEM battery (Yuasa) in my Zed lasted 6 years. The replacement, another Yuasa, was still going strong at 6 years old when I sold the bike.

My OEM battery only lasted 11 years. Piece of shit.

I got a Yuasa direct replacement and couldn't be happier - I barely maintain it but I'm pretty sure it's more effective than the $350 Bosch battery in my VW

My Yuasa came today and I am royally pissed, said it comes with acid separate but actually came filled so who knows how long it has been sitting on the shelf. Absolutely last battery I ever order online. Bastards.

It will be fine, the last Yuasa I bought came with the acid in it. I asked the guy in the shop and he said the popular sizes are filled at the factory.

Thanks to all who responded. I ended up getting a batter tender with more cranking amps. Tight fit, but it did. Working like a champ
