  • WTB 4-1 exhaust system

Hello folks, I'm looking for a 4 into 1 full exhaust. I put a Muzzy on my 05 and really liked it, just bought an 03 ZZR1200 and would like to do the same. Help, ideas, links........exhaust systems appreciated. Thanks. I've been gone for several years, (FZ1, ZX14, VMax) found my way back!

I just bought the black widow 4 into 1, took a little work to get it in there but works good. You can still change the oil without removing the exhaust which is a huge plus

Unfortunately, there are limited options for the ZZR single sided exhaust.

I've seen Muzzy and at one time Micron offered one. Don't know if either of them is available now.

I have seen Black Widow's as of late as Ian said.
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

Thanks guys, do you have a link to that exhaust, can't seem to find it? I don't think the Muzzy is available anymore, it was a great fit, can't even find a used one.

It looks like blackwidow exhausts might be out of stock kf the 4 into 1, they did a run of them last year, u might try to email them and see if they are planning on making any more of then

Here is a link to the Black Widow site: https://www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk...stem-125-c.asp

I put one on my wife's Yamaha last year and like it.

I will say that the BW headers can be a bit of a PITA to install as they are separate pipes and you have to hold them together and them tighten them up.

If just going the slip on route you should have no issues.

            Good luck.

It's been a while since I fiddled with a ZZR.

I don't recall the stock headers being too heavy?

Maybe that was the ZX 14 though?

So, are the BW headers considerably lighten than OEM?

I had a Tsukigi exhaust on my ‘03 ZZR1200. Saved a lot of weight replacing the heavy header and exhaust cannons, and it had a good sound.

The link above is to a used one on Ebay that you could powder coat.

The link below is to an online source for a new set up.

It was easy to install and no probs changing oil. It did not block access to oil filter or drain plugs.

The stock headers and the 4 -1 headers are close in weight, but the stock mufflers are a diff story. Each muffler has a cat. Converter in it from what i understand. switching them out for aftermarket cans i wouldn't doubt the bike loses 20lbs

Yeah, I remembered the OEM cans being very heavy due to the cats in them.

Upon thinking about it I guess you'd have to get the 4 into 1 headers anyway to make the single side exhaust work.

Thanks again for the info, emailed Black Widow, they advised me that they no longer make the 4-1 exhaust. I'll keep looking.
