TBolt has them on his green 14.

I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

I have the blue on my bike... I think they look pretty good with the added benefit of being reflective for added anti-T-bone safety at night.

to be honest guys i ride with tend to ridicule people who have put on rim stickers as they serve no purpose at all. A lad turned up with blue rim stripes on his 14 and took so much shit of us that he pulled them off at the next stop.

It depends on your bike. I would not put them on my C14 but they fit my ZED's style. I understand the verbal ribbing but I also see a ton of Brit riders wearing full leathers and pucks but dont have a mark on the pucks and they are riding 2-up. In my area if you showed up like that your gonna get some crap over here....I say if you like the way it looks screw'em its your bike were not in Jr High anymore....

                          Re: Rim Stripes

I tend to shy away from anything on the bike that isnt for safety, performance or comfort, if its just for looks then i dont bother, my house has no ornaments , i like everything to have a purpose, but thats just me.

Saying that Id love some trick led lights inside my fairing or under the bike, maybe justify by extra safety ??
