I got it on using only the rear latch. The middle latch I transferred off the stock seat does not line up properly. Had to move the fuse box out of position and lay it flat. I’ll mess with it some more this weekend then talk to the guys in our Fab shop and maybe knock up a slightly different bracket.
Thanks guys. Mine is the same as yours, Dave. I can see that I need to bend the rearmost fitting to fit the slot on the bike and bolt the middle fitting from the stock seat into the Corbin. I’ll fiddle with it after work today. Your photos are very helpful. I just didn’t want to force anything.

Thanks Mike - when referencing the link you posted the model number on my saddle clearly identifies it as being for 2006 - 2011 model years but it works perfectly on my 2012.
Chris - have you tried putting the mounting bracket from your stock saddle on the Corbin? I seem to remember reading something about that but it may have been to put a Concours saddle on a 14. I could have switched mine but it’s so long ago I can’t be sure.
Ensure the saddle is slid securely into the two metal tabs on the body of the bike that hold both sides of the front of the saddle in place then I have to jiggle the saddle a little to get the locking pins to slide into the retaining holes, then I just push it down and mine clicks right into place.
I just looked at my bike and I see the fuse box on riders right hip. I’ve included a pic. I’ve had the Corbin I’m using for a long time now. It was on my 06 and my 07 zx14 and it’s now on the 2012 ZX14r. I didn’t do any mods or changes to the bike or the saddle to make it fit.
Here’s a pic of my bike’s under saddle area taken from front to back. I can’t figure out why you’re having a problem. Sometimes I have to give the saddle a little jiggle to get everything to line up then it snaps right in.
I now have a Corbin seat that fit a ZX-14. It will not fit on the ZX-14R due to a little fuse box on the right side of the bike that sits below the seat under the rider's left hip.
I'll try to post some pics later.
Did you have to do any alterations to the seat pan to get your ZX-14 seat to fit the 14R? Maybe relocate that fuse box?
I’ve run the same corbin saddle I currently have on my 2012 ZX14r on both my 2007 ZX14 and on my 2006 ZX14 when I owned them. I’ve never noticed any difference in the way it fits on any of them.
