Been a while since I've posted, but just got off the bike and the first think I see when I get to this site is this thread. This was my solution a couple years ago. I coudn't find anything that would work, and I had a 12" piece of 1"×2" 6063 bar in the garage, so I made these. Got luck in that I had acces to a Bridgeport milling machine to cut the outline. About 1/2 hour to cut 2 out according to measurements, then I brought them home. First, i got a 1 1/4" Forstner bit from Home depot. I drilled 5/8" deep centered for the muffler bolt, leaving 3/8" of meat, then switched to a 5/16" bit(?) for the bolt. I bolted each one on at this point, and marked for the hole for the stock footpeg bracket. I used the stock pin. I got the straight pegs cheep online, and could use almost any peg. I'd like to say that, if I could get some time on a milling machine I'd lighten it up and smooth it out, but it works, and I'll never bother. They work well, and the pegs are about 1"forward an1/2" up from the can bolt. My daughter has the biggest feet of anyone that have used them (9 womens), and i get a brush on my heel/ankle once in a while if my toes are on the pegs. Not bad.

The bar is screwed to the exhaust hole.
Did passenger feel stronger exhaust vibration?

While the elite pushes for ecological transition and electric engines, I enjoy the power of a 1200cc 4 strokes engine fed by 4 x 40mm. carburetors.
