  • Throttle cable

Whilst rerouting some cables, I inadvertently snapped the accelerator cable plastic guide, near the top end at the throttle housing.

All still seems to work ok, but I'm wondering how long it will last.
Installing a new cable is a PITA.

    Diagram is now correct ...

No cables to be had in Australia. Needs to come from Japan. 4 weeks.

But, found a set (pair of cables) on USA eBay off a 2005, in good condition. Should be here in less than 2 weeks.

      God deal Bill
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

        Thanks.
I'm looking forward to changing the cables over ...

I just went for a ride ( 35 degrees C today - 95F), and no problems with the cable as is.

My mileage is now 10km shy of 150,000km.
