  • Need recommendations on a carburetor rebuild kit for an 06 ZZR600

    Hi all,

Trying to rescue an 06 ZZR600 that was gifted to me. Do you guys have any recommendations on a carburetor rebuild kit? A preferred vendor to get parts from in SoCal?

    Thanks

I have had great success buying parts from ebay. I do try to avoid getting anything from out of country, mostly because I am impatient and have heard some stories about delivery times. Good luck.

Here is a kit from Bike Bandit.

      https://www.bikebandit.com/aftermark...61038?m=149041

It is a California kit (whatever that means)

I'm guessing some kind of emissions shit you guys have to deal with.

They also have a non Cali kit.

      Good luck.
I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way.

Yes, I think Big O is correct. The California bikes may have extra plumbing, and maybe even a different level of carb tune to deal with the stronger emissions standards that the state imposes.

Ron Ayers is a pretty comprehensive on-line bike parts source. So is Dennis Kirk.

              No problem.

That's what we are here for.

              Glad we could help.
