The World Champion St. Louis Cardinals have ace Adam Wainwright back on the roster for the 2012 season. Remains to be seen how deeply the loss of Albert Pujols will affect the team's chances.

To me, the larger issue will be rookie skipper Mike Matheny and how he handles his first managerial job. He was a tough SOB as a catcher, but that doesn't make him smart. Originally Posted by JeffS

Pujols started slow last year and came on in the 2nd half. I think it may take him a while to get used to all the junkball throwers in the junior circuit. A lot will depend on the Angels' lineup and who they surround him with.Last edited by Danno; 02-22-2012 at 06:12 PM.

After last season, I don't even know one player on the Astros roster. They cleaned house.

An Astros Fan! There aren't many of us around, especially outside of Texas!
I'm glad the team was sold, but leaving the National League????????????????? WTF!!!!!!!!!!
