Re: Windscreen Recommendations
So JWB...how did the new screen do? At 6'3" I'm looking at screen options and wonder if it was a good option. The stock screen puts the blast right at the bottom edge of my helmet making the ride rather noisy.

Re: Windscreen Recommendations
Well, I like it. With the stock screen, the wind was right about nose level (I'm only about 5'11"), but, I couldn't stand the buffeting. What it does for me is takes away that buffeting. If I really tuck, it works even better. It's not quite as wide as the stocker, but, I like the tradeoff as it is a nice combination of a little extra wind protection and sleek looks........I would say that I don't regret the purchase at all.......With you at 6'3", it's hard for me to say how it would work for you. If we end up on the same ride, you would be more than welcome to ride my bike and try it for yourself........

Re: Windscreen Recommendations
Thanks everyone, very interesting thread. At 6'2 the wind noise and buffeting get me sometimes but no voices in my head yet.
Has anyone tried the Puig double bubble?06 Midnight Blue ZZR1200, the coolest colour.

Re: Windscreen Recommendations
Everyone has an opinion on windscreens and you probably know the rest of that saying . . .

Anyways, I run a Gufstaffson Super-G with an MRA spoiler on top which gives me a quiet pocket and wind protection in the winter. The bugs pretty much miss me and either hit the screen or go over my head.
When it's warmer in the main season (May-September out here) I run an MRA Vario windshield that has an integrated spoiler. This does not blow the wind over my head, but does disrupt the blast over the top of the screen which reduces buffeting. The bugs do hit my helmet and at high speed there is some backblast in the cockpit.
The nice thing about the spoiler is that it is adjustable so you can adjust it to your preference and even adjust it on the fly.
I am 6'0" and have the gen mar risers if that helps.
