I think he got about 2 1/2 mpg.

i hate to find out what kind of mileage im gonna get dragging this thing around the mountains....with fuel at nearly 4 bucks a gallon too.

Well if you get to our neck of the woods it's only 3.19 a gallon right now
However it is legal in Oklahoma and you don't need any special endorsements on your license. An extra twenty for the HiPo that pulls you over might help though

thats the problem im running into....most states that allow it have conditions. makes a simple yes/no answer almost impossible.
i think im gonna just have at it and see what happens. they say its always easier to get forgiveness than permission.

update:

been on the road 4 times with this rig now and have had zero issues legal or mechanical.
have been gawked at by local leo's and even followed by dot cops twice and have not been stopped, so apparently its either not illegal or so obscure that none of them is familiar with the appropriate statute.
this has been in ga. only.

note: backing up is possible but is a major pain in the ass.

I have seen it in Kali. I believe you can get a non-commercial endorsement for towing two trailers in Kali.
