Does anyone have any experience with purchasing plastic kits from DHGATE.com? I'd like to hear your story if you have one because I need to purchase some plastics for my zzr 1200 and it seems like a good deal. Thanks for your input!

looks like the ones that you see all the time on fleabay. I personally dont have any experiance with them, but I've read that some of the holes don't line up and that they are thinner than stock.

its unfair to show the tank in the same colour in the image as we all know you are going to have to sort that yourself, BTW how do you get an exact colour match for your tank ? probably cost more than the fairing kit

USD $324 for quantity = 1...
USD $157 for quantity >= 17

Most of that cost difference is freight savings, trust me.

lots of paint shops can scan something painted in the color you have, then can make up that color in anything from quarts to spray cans. I have a 77 firebird formula that was repainted what I thought was a light pontiac gold. Took a sample to a paint shop and they told me it was yucca tan. mixed up two rattle cans and the match was almost exact!!

Yeah ... Those Firebirds were kinda yucca ..... =^>

What he said ... The electric eye's work real well with pastel's .. so so with base coat metalics .. not so good with three stage candies like say PMB .. But .. leave a piece with them and their "Matcher" will get you an exact match .. and if they try and charge you extra for matching then your going to the wrong supplyer ...

For very high qaulity I recomend Sherwin Williams Ultra system or for the very best .. their Planet Color system .......
