    Battery Mart "big crank" battery....impressed

I Left the GPS plugged in and charging for about a week and fried what was left of my Wallmart "Never start" battery. So I went shopping locally, hitting sears, auto zone, Advanced Auto, ETC and finding the average battery price was about 90 dollars (plus CT sale tax and core charge) with between 160 and 180 cold cranking amps .

Not satisfied I checked online and found Battery Mart. They had this battery
sale for $70.95( regular ($101.95) and free shipping. Best part was it was 220 cold cranking amps or about 25% more cranking amps then what I could find Locally. I got the battery in three days (ordered it Fri eve, delivered Mon.morn) and installed . My bike has never turned over and started so Fast! not even close. Time will tell how good the battery is but after reading all the reviews o the web site and my experience so far, I would recommend them.

I had just replaced my old, dead-cell battery with a Bikemaster gel battery (about $100) a couple of months before the crash. Guess what went back into the wreck and what's sitting on my workbench right now? (tee-hee!)

Thanks for the link, I had noticed that my C14 was turning over a little slowly when I park outside in 30-40 degree weather at work. I ordered the Big Crank since it is around $20 cheaper than other AGM batteries I was looking at.

That looks like a great deal. The Yuasa YTX14BS CCA is 200A.

For anyone in Oz or NZ, Supercheap sell a re-branded Yuasa for NZ$92. Wish I'd seen that before I paid $130 for my new battery.

Same battery part numbers for both bikes, so the cases are identical size.
