After watching that video I am thinking how easy it would be to damage the brake disk and the disk carrier. It does take much to put it out of spec. I bet there are no tire pressure monitors on those wheels.

Just be careful and you should be fine.

You could always take off the discs if you are worrried about them

Why not just flip the rim over, so the rotor is up, out of harm's way - that's what I do when changing out
tires - for the front, I place two pieces of wood under the rim, to protect the rotor facing down.

If not careful, you can end up resting the tire changing bar on the disc as you spin the tire off.

Or, as you are leveraging the bar under the tire bead you torque it against the disc.

As far as flipping the wheel over, the front wheel has two discs


So, if someone is really concerned aboout the discs Id recommend just taking them off.

Won't take but five minutes.
