    Merles Daughter

Hey all I made a quick mention in Sams thread (we are praying for you all Sam ) about having time sitting in I C U
Little Marylin ( my 14 year old ) is in Iowa city ICU ,she goes in for surgery today the 12 th lots of details ,but the short version is we almost lost her last night , fever is down now ,pancrious (spelling) is trying to come back on line as well as her liver and lungs although there is fluid on them . Gaulblatter (spelling) has to go and some stones .
They estimate 2 weeks in icu and tons of treatments ,this is very rare in a child this age but she's fighting back at it it will be a long road to recovery for her ,

Dads Little Girl, Collette, I Miss you everyday !

That is some litany for a youngster to overcome. We have been through some serious issues with our girls, but not all at once. Hope everything turns out well and she's back up to snuff in no time.

Damn Merle! Pancreatitis in a 14yr old? That is truly rough! Dangerous too!
    Hoping everything goes smoothly.
Feel for you sweating that one out. So hard to watch your kids suffer.
