Tex, Cherie, I'm pulling for Connor.
Once again, anything I can do at all, water the Cat, walk the Fish, name it.
A day away from school is no biggy.
I'll PM my number, I'm not sure I've given it to you since the change."16, I found my dream machine-turned the key and every light turned green-like Steve McQueen I made that motor scream and it was LOUD!"

Tex and Cherie, I just read the post tonight. I'm sitting here at Creek side awaiting for everyone to show for Anarchy. This is horrible news. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I have faith that God will allow Connor to heal and return to the wonderful young man he is. You have a great family, and alot of love and time went into those children. I truly believe his health will return. Believing is everything.

Texx,
I just got back from my business meeting and saw the last update. I'll call the church tomorrow and have him added to the prayer chain...we'll make sure to have as many people pulling for him here as we can.

LeeThis post will probably not contribute much or have little to do with riding/crashing solo or on a zzrbikes ride. No discussions of the following either: oil, tires, windscreens, seats, handgrips, tire pressure, color, the ZZR’s buzziness, the ZX14’s smoothness, or mileage; use “SEARCH” please. For fear of offending nancy-boys w/a non-PC comment, political comments will be found in the Dungeon. It may, however, express my hopes, humor, wit or curmudgeonly views, depending on your interpretation.

Connor is the name of my maternal lineage. As soon as I read that name, I instantly had a visual image of the poor boy in the hospital. No longer just the abstraction of Texx and Cherie's son.
It is terrible to contemplate the fear, anguish and unreality Connor is going through at this moment. Added to that is the cruelty of feeling both pain and a creeping loss of sensation.
His mother, wanting to cradle her dear baby and make it all better.
His father, struggling to control himself and make sure everything that can be done is done. And handling the logistics of being far from home.
All of them forced to deal with not only the moment-to-moment uncertainty, but also the fearsome possible futures. And all the while maintaining the hope.
It is dreadful in the truest sense.
Texx and Cherie are people of faith. This is not a test of their faith, but rather is a time when their faith pays off. They know they are not alone. They know that they are receiving comfort from their Lord.
I know the faithful are praying for Connor. I'd like to ask the rest of this group to consider saying a prayer as well, in whatever way you like. Just try to send some positive energy to Connor. Even if you lack faith, it can't hurt to try, right?
Peace be with them. How To Cheat on Personality Tests
1. When asked for word associations or comments about the world, give the most conventional, run-of-the-mill, pedestrian answer possible.
2. To settle on the most beneficial answer to any question, repeat to yourself:(a) I loved my father and my mother, but my father a little bit more.
(b) I like things pretty well the way they are.
(c) I never worry much about anything.
(d) I don't care for books or music much.
(e) I love my wife and children.
(f) I don't let them get in the way of company work. From The Organization Man by William Hollingsworth Whyte, 1956
