Smiley Tutorial

Since this seems to be a big concern for many posters, I thought this walkthrough might help. To get the smilies (along with some other features) to show up, you need to change your interface settings to one that allows them. It just takes a few mouse clicks to do:

1. Click "Settings" at the top of the screen:



2. Select "General Settings" under the My Settings section:



3. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous Options Section and select either "Enhanced Interface" or "Standard Editor", then Save Changes:

*Standard will probably seem most familiar, but Enhanced allows you to see exactly what your post will look like as you type.

4. Then when you post, you will see two options for choosing smilies:



To show more smilies, select "More" from the menu on the right, or scroll to the bottom of the pulldown smiley menu and select "Show All Smilies"
