For those who don't know, I'm rebuilding a 2003 electric zzr1200 that was dropped in a curb by a good friend. I have a 2004 brand new frame, tank and pretty much everything else except engine and fairings. I spent all weekend putting the engine in this frame. I guess it might have taken about 15 to 20 hours to do. All that is needed now is to get the chain link riveted and add oil (engine and clutch) as well as the antifreeze. The bike will still need paint work on the front end and right side fairings ...

I haven't riden my bike in two year and it sat in a dry garage. I changed the oil and the cooling fluid. Put in fresh gas and some seafoam. I tried to start it up and a strange thing happened. The fuel pump seemed to pump gas continues out through two places the rear fender and the front air intake. Gas was just pouring out. Can anyone tell me what the heck was happening?

My thought is that a float shutoff for the fuel pump was stuck and so the fuel pump just over primed. Now ...

I have contacted a couple in Jacksonville.. Anyone know of places and what the general consensus seems to be on price per rim?

Has anyone changed out the halo lights? I am looking into it but wondering how involved or difficult it is. It doesnt appear it is a matter of lightbulb...
